The Abilene Reporter News Online posted an article/column of Ask Doug and Doug Williamson answered the question of who’s buried in the mascot grave Hardin-Simmons University?  The favorable answer to this question is ‘Dam-it’ The Dog, a white bulldog and mascot for the class of 1920.–Great name for a mascot with a Baptist affiliation!–Although Doug Williamson says the mascot had a different reference on Sunday!  ‘Dam-it’ is now in his third resting place with a “vandal proof” marker and a place on the campus map!
