Bike ride for Awareness
Davidson College had bike riders participating last Saturday in the sixth annual Collier Lilly Ride. In addition to honoring namesake Lily, whose death from a car accident in the 1980s and organ donation saved many lives, former UNC Chapel Hill Ramses mascot and organ donor Jason Ray was honored as well. Ray was was hit by a car in 2007. Not only did Jason Ray touch lives of fans in the stands, his decision of organ donation saved or improved the quality of life of 30 people. —so think about his example and sign the back of your driver’s license.

The mascot team consists of fellow Pioneer League mascots Hootz (Orem Owlz) and Oggie (Odgen Raptors), as well as host mascot Bumble. Rounding off the roster will be the Flash Fox from the Utah Flash, Grizzbee from the Utah Grizzlies, Cosmo from BYU, Swoop from the University of Utah, Big Blue from Utah State University, Wolverine from Utah Valley University, and Bruin Bear from Salt Lake City Community College. If you’re in the area, please take pictures!!! This looks to be interesting for who’s on first!

They have talent for hire, marketing, design, and storage. Looks like a one stop for all your mascot needs. I didn’t see a blue light anywhere though….
