Auburn’s Spirit
Something’s brewing in the news of if and when Auburn’s bald eagle mascot, Spirit will fly in Saturday’s game. Apparently the bird zigged when it should have zagged and hit a skybox in the game against Mississippi State, September 10. According to the the loveliest village blog video, Spirit is fine and just giving other mascots a turn to bring it!
September 4 in Alabama is College Colors Day
Ten Alabama University and College mascots watched and cheered as Governor Riley signed a proclamation that September 4th will be College Colors Day. Alabama residents are encouraged to wear school colors of their favorite team this Friday!
